Back to top ↑What does Propps show me?
Whether your brand is mentioned and recommended, which competitors appear and which sources are cited. You can open the original answers to explore further yourself.
Do I have to come up with every question myself?
No. The guided setup suggests questions based on your business. You choose, edit and add to them. That way, you track what matters to your customers.
Choose useful prompts for your brandCan I also see how AI talks about my brand?
Yes. Propps examines how your brand is described and the sentiment behind it. The answer itself remains available so you can check the interpretation.
Understand the different visibility metricsDoes Propps also help me improve?
Improve and Improve Scale add in-depth SEO/GEO analyses. Investigate your own pages, competitors and sources, and get concrete improvements to work on with your team or agency.
Explore the in-depth SEO/GEO analysisWill my first scan be useful straight away?
Yes. Your first scan shows where you appear, which alternatives are mentioned and which answers need attention. Further scans give you a clearer view of how things develop.
Learn what your first AI visibility check can tell youWhat if my brand doesn’t appear?
You can see which businesses and sources did appear. That gives you a starting point for further research. One scan is a snapshot, not a verdict on every possible AI answer.
Explore why competitors appear while your brand does notWhat does the free trial include?
You get 1 month of Measure with up to 10 active prompts on ChatGPT, measured weekly. Your first scan is included. After email verification and approval, your trial starts at your first login. No payment details and no automatic renewal.
Compare plans and what the trial includesShould every question include my company name?
Usually not when measuring spontaneous visibility. Branded questions can help you investigate how AI describes your business.
Can I write my own questions?
Yes. You control the customer questions. Guidance and suggestions support your choice without imposing a particular formulation.
How many prompts can I follow?
That depends on your subscription. The current pricing comparison lists active prompt limits and available platforms.
Visibility & measurements
Back to top ↑Is this the same as a Google ranking?
No. You are observing your brand’s appearance in measured AI responses. That is different from a web page’s organic search position.
Why might my own chat answer differently?
A personal chat may have different context, settings and timing. Monitoring follows your chosen questions repeatedly with their measurement context recorded.
How do I get started?
Confirm your website and business details, choose a relevant first question and start the scan. The pricing page explains the trial and available platforms.
Does this measure every ChatGPT user?
No. You follow responses to your chosen questions and settings. That is a defined series of measurements, not a record of customers’ private conversations.
What if my brand does not appear?
You can still see the other businesses and sources in those responses. That can inform further investigation.
Can I start with ChatGPT in the trial?
The pricing page explains the current Measure trial and included platforms. You explicitly start your first scan after the required account approval.
Is Gemini included in every subscription?
No. The pricing comparison lists platform availability for each subscription. You choose from the options available to your workspace.
Does every Gemini response include sources?
Not necessarily. Propps records received information and does not turn missing metadata into a known source.
Does a difference from ChatGPT prove a problem with my website?
No. It is an observation that can prompt investigation. A concrete improvement proposal needs additional supporting evidence.
Are these identical to a personal Claude chat?
That is not guaranteed. Measurement method, settings, context and timing may differ.
Can I compare Claude with other platforms?
Yes, within available platforms and comparable measurement selections. Examine differences alongside the original responses.
Does every mention trigger improvement advice?
Visibility monitoring records what was received. In-depth website research is a separate action within an eligible subscription.
Does every prompt produce an AI Overview?
No. A successful search may return no overview.
Does a high organic position prove a citation?
No. The received overview and its citations are investigated separately.
Is this included in Measure?
Check the current pricing table. Google AI Overviews requires an eligible higher subscription.
What is the weighted trend?
The trend combines available weekly results. Recent weeks carry more weight, with the weight halving after four weeks. Compare this development with the individual data points. Missing weeks remain gaps.
How does Propps keep period comparisons consistent?
Propps compares matching measurement series with the same prompts, models and settings. Each comparable series and observed week has equal weight. When comparable history is insufficient, the comparison remains limited or provisional.
Does a rise prove my GEO work is effective?
A rise helps you assess the development, but does not establish cause and effect. Model updates and competitors can also affect AI responses. Compare several measurements and examine the underlying answers.
When can I assess a trend?
That depends on the available comparable history. One scan is a snapshot; historical averages need several complete measurement weeks.
Are missing answers negative results?
No. A failed or missing measurement is not evidence that your brand was not mentioned.
Can Propps show that my change caused growth?
The measurements help track developments. They do not isolate every other factor affecting AI answers, so they do not prove cause and effect.
Answers, sources & competitors
Back to top ↑Is every detected business a competitor?
No. An organisation may be a publisher, association or directory. You can identify relevant competitors.
Is share of voice my market share?
No. It is your share of company mentions within the measured selection.
Can I investigate an unmentioned competitor?
A competitor you select can be explored during in-depth research even without a previous citation.
Is sentiment an objective judgement of my company?
No. It interprets the description in the measured answer, with that text available as context.
Can a positive answer still be of limited value?
Yes. A positive description may not match the audience or question being investigated.
Does analysis prove why the model chose my brand?
No. It describes what the response says. Possible explanations require additional investigation and remain separate from observations.
Do I see every website visited by a model?
No. You see sources and metadata actually received with the measurement. Hidden searches or browsing are not presented as known.
Is a directory a competitor?
Not automatically. Source role and commercial competitor role are assessed separately.
Does a citation prove that my page performs well for every question?
No. A citation belongs to the stored response and its measurement context.
Improving your website
Back to top ↑Does every page need to be longer?
No. Clearer explanation, better structure or removing contradictions may be more useful than additional text.
Is competitor content copied?
No. Differences must fit your offering and become a starting point for supported investigation.
Can research prove something is missing everywhere on my website?
Conclusions stay bounded by inspected pages and disclosed research coverage.
Is this a complete technical site audit?
No. Checks apply to relevant selected pages within the focused investigation.
Do I need an llms.txt file?
It is not prescribed as a universal requirement. Advice needs observed issues and reliable support.
Does an unknown result count as a pass?
No. Unavailable or incomplete evidence stays visibly unknown or limited.
Will my homepage always be recommended?
No. The page should match the specific question and audience.
Do I need a page for every prompt?
No. One useful page can answer several related questions. A new page needs its own purpose and justification.
Can the research know my whole website?
It works within fixed limits and discloses inspected pages. That also limits conclusions about alternatives.
Is this a list of generic SEO tips?
Proposals belong to the investigated question, inspected pages and collected evidence. A few strong actions are more useful than unsupported lists.
Does reopening a report consume another analysis?
No. Viewing an existing report does not start new research.
Can I discuss the report with my agency?
Yes. Use the conclusion, target page and evidence to assess proposals together. Arrange a demo to see how the reporting works first.
Is this a full GEO audit of my website?
No. It is focused research around one question, market and language, within the page limits shown.
Does every monitoring measurement start an in-depth analysis?
No. A new in-depth analysis is a separate, explicit action with its own credit allowance.
Does an improvement guarantee more AI mentions?
No. The analysis supports a useful change. AI answers and other circumstances can also change.
Traffic & integrations
Back to top ↑Does Search Console show my AI brand mentions?
That is a different measurement. Propps stores AI responses separately and uses Search Console for search context.
Does a missing query mean nobody searches for it?
No. Google omits some queries and the available selection can be limited.
Can I remove the connection?
Yes. Users with the appropriate permissions manage it within the workspace.
Does this also measure AI Overviews traffic?
Not within the AI Assistant channel used here. That distinction remains visible in reporting.
Can I link every visitor to a prompt?
No. The available data does not provide a complete one-to-one link between measured prompts and individual visits.
What does Propps measure through the GA4 connection?
See identifiable visits from people clicking through from AI platforms to your website, not a count of crawlers or AI bots. Propps reads the available GA4 data, including sessions, engaged sessions and recorded key events. Which of those represent a lead or sale depends on your GA4 setup. The connection does not change your GA4 settings.
Teams, clients & markets
Back to top ↑Can I use this without marketing knowledge?
Yes. Your knowledge of your own business is the starting point. Propps helps you choose questions, brings answers together and provides concrete improvements in a page analysis. You don’t have to learn everything about SEO or GEO first.
Do I have to carry out all the improvements myself?
That is up to you. Use the content proposals to update your copy or discuss improvements with your web developer, freelancer or agency. Propps helps you explain what needs attention.
Do I need to tackle my entire website straight away?
No. Start with one important service or product and a page that fits it. Keep things manageable and build on them step by step.
Does Propps replace our existing SEO reporting?
Propps adds insight into AI answers. Search performance, website traffic and AI visibility answer different questions. Use them together to support your marketing decisions.
Can we see which content increased our visibility?
You can track changes in visibility while updating content. Timing alone does not prove that a particular change caused the development. Also review the original answers and measurement context.
Is this page only for large teams?
No. The approach fits anyone leading marketing internally: from a small marketing department to a larger team with separate SEO, content and brand roles.
Is this relevant if we only operate in two countries?
Yes. Terms, competitors and expectations can differ even between Belgium and the Netherlands. Start with your main markets and expand your approach as your business grows.
Do we also get advice for each market?
Yes. Focusing research on the local page, audience and market gives you improvements that fit. Work with your local team to decide which content, explanations or examples deserve attention.
Can we use the same questions in every market?
Use the same need as a starting point and adapt the wording to the country and language. Check with local colleagues whether the question makes sense there. Compare results in the same measurement context, such as AI platform and measurement period.
Is Propps only for SEO freelancers?
No. Content strategists and marketing consultants can also use Propps to support their research and advice. Your own expertise and knowledge of the client guide the recommendations.
Can I use Propps for different clients?
Yes. You can work with different workspaces and projects. Discuss in a demo which setup fits your clients and who needs access.
How do I use the insights in my services?
Use original answers, sources and page analyses as a basis for advice, a content brief or an improvement task. Add your own assessment and priorities so your client knows what you propose and why.
Can we add GEO to existing client programmes?
Yes. Use measurements and analyses as additional input for your SEO, content or website work. Your agency decides how to include research, implementation and follow-up in its services.
How do we organise multiple clients and specialists?
Propps works with workspaces and projects. Align the setup and access with your client agreements and team roles. In a demo, we can review how this fits your way of working.
Do we need to become a partner to use Propps?
No. You can use Propps for your client work. If you also want to collaborate with Propps, find more information on the partner page.
